School principal in Kenya writes to us
Some of the letters we receive are very heart-warming.
Let us share one from the principal of Chandera Secondary School in Nakura, Kenya, expressing thanks on behalf of his students and staff after Lifewater drilled a new well and overhauled an existing 40-metre well by replacing rusty pipes and a broken hand pump.
“This service to the school has ensured uninterrupted water supply,” Guchocho Moses wrote. “We will work towards maintaining the good partnership with you for the betterment of our school and the community. Thanks a lot and God bless you.”
These letters would never be written, and wells would never be drilled or rehabilitated, without the support of Lifewater Canada’s donors. So to you we repeat Guchocho’s words: “Thanks a lot and God bless you.”
Below are three photos of the well-drilling and repair work at Chandera Secondary School, followed by a photo of students gathering water at another school in Kenya where Lifewater Canada provided a well.
